All year opening times
Monday till Wednesday: 3 p.m. till 7 p.m.
Thursday and Friday: 10 a. m till 4 p.m.
Guests can rest assured that their children are in good hands with our expert child carers and animators who make sure your children have an enjoyable time.
Children can come to the Kids & Teens club during the opening times without prior registration.
Prior registration is only necessary for special activites e.g. an outing to the Icelandic pony ranch or for the climbing instruction.
Here is an extract from the weekly children’s activity programme with lots of highlights to suit children of all ages:
- Magic show with amazing tricks you can learn
- Bowling at the fun bowling alley on the premises (for kids from age 6)
- Punch and Judy for the little ones
- Creative workshops with lots of great ideas for painting and handicrafts
- Creative theatre or circus for joining in with surprise performance
- Exciting mini golf tournament
- Climbing instruction with qualified mountain guides (from 6 years of age)
- Trial riding instruction at the Icelandic pony ranch
- Archery (for kids from age 9)
- Pirate games with treasure hunt
- Fancy dress parties with dance and movement games
When checking in your child is given a small welcome gift and the current weekly activities programme.
In July and August the kids are streamed according to age and interests. A special kids and teens activity programme is organised for children between 3 and 5, 6 and 8 and kids from age 9.
Additionally there is a playroom for the tots with a ball pool, slide, small climbing wall, rocking horse and giant lego.
TeenagersOpen or Close
TeenagersAt the youth centre older kids can meet and hang out. Table tennis, billiards, slot machines, table football and pinball can be played here and youths have the chance of making new friends.
Our fun bowling alley guarantees traditional, socialable interaction. A classic way of getting together and having competitive sporting fun. Who'll bowl the next strike?
Indoor Swimming Pool Open or Close
Indoor swimming poolWhilst mum and dad relax in the wellness area , the water babies can splash around in the wading pool and whizz down the water slide.
The large whirlpool with the mushroom-shaped fountain is an all-time favourite in our children's hotel.
Children's PlaygroundOpen or Close
Children's playgroundApart from the healthy Gastein mountain air and green grass there are many other fun things at the pay ground: sandpit, giant trampoline, swings, climbing frame with slide and rocking animals.
The play ground of our familiy-oriented hotel is open all day and is the ideal place for kids to get to know each other and have fun playing together!

Day trips and outings for childrenLama trekking, archery, mini golf and an outing to the Iceland pony stables and petting farm are a few of the attractions offered as part of our children's activity programme.You can, of course, visit these attractions with your children on your own initiative.

Stubnerkogel - suspension bridgeAfter a pleasant ascent in the new "Stubnerkogel" mountain railway you reach the 140 m long suspension bridge at 2.300m altitude. The suspension bridge leads you directly from the terrace of the mountain restaurant to the transmitter on the opposite side. With the connecting route across the ridge, the suspension bridge opens up a fascinating circular hiking trail on the Stubnerkogel plateau connecting to the route across the ridge; an ideal walking trip for families.
Walking distance to the Stubnerkogel railway approx. 5 mins.
Open during the summer and winter mountain railway season.
The lift takes you up to the summit and then it's off you whizz, down the track road with the
cool scooters. The large air-filled tyres and disc brakes make mountain scootering fun possible. Protective gear, and a professional guide make this a fun but safe adventure!
